# Pricing

The Developer Edition is free and fully unlocked. Enterprise is a one-time $3,000 perpetual license plus $1,000 a year for support, per database instance. A Site License covers unlimited installs and is priced on request. You own the software either way, and security fixes are always free.

## Signed, offline-verifiable licenses - fail open on expiry

AGLedger uses signed, offline-verifiable licenses.

1. Generate an install code from your deployment

2. Retrieve a signed license (manual or API)

3. Apply locally - no call-home required

Licenses are validated using Ed25519 signatures and never require outbound connectivity.

Design partner program

You run AGLedger in production on a free site license for six months - unlimited database instances within your organization, every feature unlocked. We get a design partner: a biweekly feedback channel, the right to cite you as a reference, and your logo on the site.

At the end of the term you convert to a site license at agreed terms, or you stop. AGLedger fails open, so your signed records keep verifying either way - converting is a commercial decision, never a technical hostage.

AGLedger is generally available. This is a partnership, not a free tier.
